Can a supplier quote an identical reference table from a model name alone?
No. A name or photograph rarely establishes the full playing specification. Ask for the exact reference revision, dimensioned drawing and component list, then compare each requirement with the proposed Sundays configuration. Record matched, different and unconfirmed items separately. Do not describe the table as identical until both sides have approved the written comparison.
Which playing specifications matter most?
Confirm overall size and playing area, slate piece count and thickness, frame and leveling method, cushion and rubber construction, pocket openings and cuts, cloth grade, ball set and any heating or lighting. A full-size label does not by itself confirm the same playing response. Ask for measurable acceptance checks and a signed sample specification.
How should an academy order several tables?
Keep one approved configuration for every table, with recorded component and finish references. If the schedule permits, inspect one playable sample or approved reference unit before releasing the balance. Agree on pre-shipment photos, packing identification, installation guidance and a spare-parts list so the venue can maintain a consistent teaching environment.
Can the academy add its own logo?
Send artwork you are authorized to use and specify each placement, color, finish and packaging mark. Ask for a mockup or sample approval before production. A reference brand's logo, protected decoration or tournament endorsement should never be copied into an OEM quotation without permission.
What must be checked before shipping to an overseas venue?
Provide the destination port, site address, access route, room measurements, floor and installation constraints, local installer plan and target opening date. Request a package-by-package list, slate protection plan, weights and handling notes. Freight, import documents, installation labor and spare parts should appear as separate quotation lines when their scope differs.
What should the first inquiry include?
Send the reference model or specification sheet, number of 12ft tables, intended academy use, destination, required playing components, approved logo artwork and deadline. Request a line-by-line comparison, stated differences, optional upgrades, sample route, packing, lead time and quotation. The supplier should mark unavailable or unverified points rather than fill them with assumptions.
What to include in your RFQ
For a comparable quotation, send the target billiard discipline or table model, destination country, expected order quantity, intended venue, required customization and preferred delivery window. Ask the supplier to separate the standard scope, optional items, spare parts, export packing and installation support.
