Pocket width alone does not define difficulty. The opening, shelf depth, jaw radius, cushion nose, facing angle, cloth and ball size work as one system. Ask for a dimensioned pocket drawing and an approved playable sample before a bulk order.
Specify the complete pocket
Record corner and side-pocket openings, measuring points, shelf depth, jaw shape, cushion profile and pocket-liner position. Two tables with a similar opening can reject rail shots very differently when the shelf and jaw geometry change.
Match balls and cloth
Confirm the ball diameter and cloth construction with the table specification. Rounded openings, full-size pool balls and a fast directional surface create the distinctive Chinese 8-ball response buyers expect.
Approve play, not only appearance
Test slow rail shots, firm center-pocket shots, cushion rebound, pocket rattle and roll consistency. Keep the approved table, pocket templates and material samples as production references.
What to include in your RFQ
For a comparable quotation, send the target billiard discipline or table model, destination country, expected order quantity, intended venue, required customization and preferred delivery window. Ask the supplier to separate the standard scope, optional items, spare parts, export packing and installation support.
