The fastest cloth is not automatically the best commercial cloth. Balance playing speed with abrasion resistance, cleaning practice, color stability, installation consistency and planned replacement intervals.
Define the venue duty cycle
Record daily table hours, player level, chalk volume, food-and-drink exposure, cleaning frequency and event requirements. A tournament room and a busy social club may need different cloth priorities.
Compare installed samples
Evaluate sample cloth on the intended cushion and slate system. Check speed, directional behavior, stretch, rail response, visible tracking, pilling and color under the venue's real lighting.
Plan repeat supply
Approve a physical color and performance sample, identify the production lot, specify the full bed-and-rail cut plan and hold spare sets. Repeatable supply often matters more than a small initial price difference.
What to include in your RFQ
For a comparable quotation, send the target billiard discipline or table model, destination country, expected order quantity, intended venue, required customization and preferred delivery window. Ask the supplier to separate the standard scope, optional items, spare parts, export packing and installation support.
