Verify wood packaging compliance
If crates, pallets or blocking use solid wood packaging material, confirm ISPM 15 treatment and legible marks. Engineered wood products may be treated differently, so document the actual packing materials and have the forwarder review them before loading.
Build a landed-cost worksheet
Combine the product value with origin charges, freight, insurance, broker and entry costs, duties or taxes confirmed for the shipment, port or terminal handling, examination contingency, delivery, unloading equipment, installation and spare parts. Plan arrival, installation and claims
Photograph sealed crates at arrival, note visible damage before signing, match packages to the packing list and follow the supplier's installation sequence. Send a complete RFQ
Include destination ZIP code or port, table quantity and model, required delivery date, room-access limits, packing preference, branding files, installation responsibility and requested spare kit. A complete brief lets the factory return a more useful quotation and packing plan.
What to include in your RFQ
For a comparable quotation, send the target billiard discipline or table model, destination country, expected order quantity, intended venue, required customization and preferred delivery window. Ask the supplier to separate the standard scope, optional items, spare parts, export packing and installation support.
