Test visibility under real lighting
Place the intended ball set and chalk beside large cloth swatches under the same fixtures, brightness and glare conditions used in the venue. Review visibility from standing and playing height, around pocket openings and from the darkest spectator position.
Separate playing performance from color
Cloth construction, finish and installation affect play; color alone does not define speed or durability. Compare color only after the cloth grade and table application have been shortlisted, and ask the supplier for the care guidance that applies to that exact cloth.
Set a chalk and maintenance policy

Control repeat-order color variation
Keep the supplier, cloth model, color reference, batch information and installation date in the maintenance record. Ask whether same-lot spare cloth can be supplied for the project; future production should be checked against a retained physical reference rather than an old screen image.
Send a venue-specific RFQ
Provide table type and quantity, cloth model or performance target, current lighting, preferred color range, house-ball colors, chalk policy, cut plan, spare requirement and target replacement schedule. Final shade, batch and availability should be confirmed in the written quotation.

For a comparable quotation, send the target billiard discipline or table model, destination country, expected order quantity, intended venue, required customization and preferred delivery window. Ask the supplier to separate the standard scope, optional items, spare parts, export packing and installation support.
