Measure the route, not only the room
Start at the truck position and follow the exact path to the table location. Record clear opening width and height, tight turns, corridor width, stair width and landing depth, elevator door and cabin size, ceiling restrictions and any removable door or handrail. Photographs and a simple marked floor plan reduce ambiguity.
Compare access with packed components
Ask the supplier for the package count, packed dimensions, gross weight and lifting points of the slate, cabinet or frame, rails and accessories. The decisive item is the largest or heaviest component, not the assembled table footprint. Do not assume a part can be tilted or unpacked outdoors unless the installer approves the method.
Plan unloading and internal handling
Confirm vehicle access, parking restrictions, loading dock or curb delivery, tail-lift or forklift needs, trolley route, floor loading and protection, crew size and weather cover. Assign who receives the shipment, checks package numbers and photographs visible damage before movement.
Confirm professional installation scope
Pool tables require controlled assembly, leveling and cloth fitting. State whether the quoted service includes room-of-choice delivery, stair carry, crate disposal, installation, leveling, final play check and packaging removal. Send an access brief with the RFQ
Include destination address type, floor number, lift information, route measurements, photographs, delivery restrictions, unloading responsibility and installer contact. The factory can then review packing orientation and the local team can price exceptional handling before shipment.

For a comparable quotation, send the target billiard discipline or table model, destination country, expected order quantity, intended venue, required customization and preferred delivery window.
