MOQ and lead time are not useful as isolated numbers. Ask the factory to quote a sample stage, production quantity, customization scope, material-approval dates and a realistic ex-factory window for the exact pool table model.
Separate sample and production orders
Use the sample to approve play, finish, logo position, accessories and packing. Record every approved change in a signed specification sheet so the bulk order is not based on messages or renderings alone.
Identify the true lead-time drivers
Slate preparation, custom metalwork, paint or veneer, cloth selection, electrical components, logo tooling and export crates can follow different schedules. Request milestone dates for material approval, assembly, inspection and loading.
Plan spare parts with the first order
Add an agreed spare-parts package for cushions, pockets, fasteners, LED components and venue-wear items where relevant. Shipping small replacements separately after installation is slower and more expensive than planning them with the original order.
What to include in your RFQ
For a comparable quotation, send the target billiard discipline or table model, destination country, expected order quantity, intended venue, required customization and preferred delivery window. Ask the supplier to separate the standard scope, optional items, spare parts, export packing and installation support.
